[Women's Cross Country] Women's Cross Country Races to Top-15 Finish at NAIA NationalsPublished by
CEDAR RAPIDS, Mich. – All seven Wildcats ran personal best times to catapult Indiana Wesleyan University women’s cross country to a 14th place finish at the NAIA National Championship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. IWU outperformed their No. 20 national ranking and see six of the seven runners return next season.
Team Finish: 14th of 36 teams
1. Rebecca Groh: 72nd, 18:30
1. Oregon Tech 126
“In my opinion, these ladies are easily the best team in the world to coach. I don’t wish to think about cross country without Becca Groh, but everyone else is back next year and our men were 14th a year ago.”
The 2018 season is complete. The Wildcats are well positioned for the 2019 season with six runners that competed at the national championship returning next year.
