“Day two was an incredible day. Out of the five events we competed in, four finished with season best performances. In addition, our women’s 4x800-meter relay finishing second overall and breaking the program record by about seven seconds was really fun. We couldn’t be more proud of how they raced, how they represented IWU, and how they display Christ-like love for each other and their competitors.”
Indiana Wesleyan closes out the national championships on Saturday with six Wildcats competing in finals. Wildcats that will be in action on Saturday are Brennan Coil in the Shot Put, Chris Maxon in the 5,000-Meter, Landon Miller and Jesse Saxton in the 3,000-Meter, Lorna Bechtel in the High Jump, and Jessica Sprinkles in the 800-Meter.
